Note: You will need to begin installing S&C on DVD in order to retrieve your Product ID and the Input String.

Please E-mail these unique strings (case sensitive) to SNC@Traders.com and you will receive your authorization code. Be sure to carefully record the correct values. These are absolutely necessary for your copy of S&C on DVD to install and work on your machine.

After installation, make sure under the menu Edit > Preferences > Search that the "Always use advanced search options" box is checked, and under Edit > Preferences > General that "Use only certified plug-ins" box is unchecked. You will not be able to search if you do not install Adobe Reader 8 that is provided on S&C on DVD.

GETTING STARTED
Turn off all other programs then follow the instructions below.
Uninstall previous versions of S&C on CD.

Installing S&C on DVD

1. Insert S&C on DVD Version 10.25 then access or explore your DVD-ROM drive.
2. Double-click Install.exe.
3. Accept all default settings and prompts.
4. Product ID and the Input Strings will be displayed.
5. Carefully record these values and e-mail them along with your name, address, purchase date and operating system to SNC@Traders.com.
6. During business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm PST, you will receive an authorization string. Enter it into the appropriate field on the DVD-ROM, and installation will continue.
7. A dialogue box will appear, click ok.

Using S&C on DVD

There are two ways to launch S&C on DVD. You can access the Start menu, look under Programs and select S&C on DVD. Launch the S&C icon to begin using S&C on DVD. Alternatively, you can launch the TRADERS.PDF (located in your DVD-ROM drive) from within the Adobe Reader program. This will call up the main file and home page for your S&C on DVD. From this page, you will be able to browse and search all the information included on your copy of S&C on DVD. To search anytime while using S&C on DVD, click the binoculars with the page behind it.
