Note: You will need to begin installing S&C on CD in order to retrieve your Product ID and the Input String.

Please E-mail these unique strings (case sensitive) to SNC@Traders.com and you will receive your authorization code. Be sure to carefully record the correct values. These are absolutely necessary for your copy of S&C on CD to install and work on your machine.

After installation, make sure under the menu Edit/Preferences/Search that the "Document Information" box is checked, and the menu Edit/Preferences/Display "Smooth Text" and "Smooth Images," are unchecked, and under Edit/Preferences/Options/Startup the "Certified Plug-Ins Only" is unchecked. You will not be able to search if you do not install Acrobat Reader 5.01 that is provided on S&C on CD Disk 1.

GETTING STARTED
Turn off all other programs then follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Installing Adobe Reader

• Uninstall previous versions of S&C on CD. Insert S&C on CD Disk 1 and open your CD-ROM drive. Double click "Install5Reader.exe." Follow the on screen instructions.

Step 2: Installing S&C on CD

• Minimum requirements: Windows
  (Intel Pentium processor, 60 MB HD)

1. Insert S&C on CD Disk 2 then access or explore your CD-ROM drive.
2. Double-click Install.exe.
3. Accept all default settings and prompts.
4. Product ID and the Input Strings will be displayed.
5. Carefully record these values and e-mail them along with your name, address, purchase date and operating system to SNC@Traders.com.
6. During business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm PST, you will receive an authorization string. Enter it into the appropriate field on the CD-ROM, and installation will continue.
7. A dialogue box will appear, click ok.

Step 3: Using S&C on CD

There are two ways to launch S&C on CD. You can access the Start menu, look under Programs and select S&C on CD. Launch the S&C icon to begin using S&C on CD. Alternatively, you can launch the TRADERS.PDF (located in your CD-ROM drive) from within the Acrobat program. This will call up the main file and home page for your S&C on CD. From this page, you will be able to browse and search all the information included on your copy of S&C on CD. To search anytime while using S&C on CD, click the binoculars with the page behind it.
