VERY AFFORDABLE COLLECTION OF 12 ORIGINAL INDICATORS AND SYSTEMS
MEYERS ANALYTICS has released a new software and manual package that contains the systems and indicators presented by Dennis Meyers in STOCKS & COMMODITIES over the years. Meyers is an S&C Contributing Editor, has a doctorate in applied mathematics in engineering, is a member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), is a private trader and is president of MEYERS ANALYTICS, a developer of analytical software for traders.

The package contains 12 systems, including the new utility average system ("A new utility average stock market system," S&C March 1997) and the XAU bond fund system ("Walk forward with the XAU bond fund system" in this issue). The system and indicator code can be imported into SuperCharts or TradeStation. All input parameters for the systems and indicators can be changed and optimized so the user may experiment with his or her own parameter set.

Many of the systems and indicators in the package have been updated and improved by the author since their original publication. (For example, the VRS (S&C July 1996) and ADRrs (S&C January 1997) systems were enhanced and the "lockout" conditions were minimized.) In addition, because the material has been programmed by the original author, users can be assured that they will receive the most accurate and up-to-date implementation of these systems.

The manual contains descriptions of all the systems, the input parameters for the systems and instructions for setting them up in SuperCharts or TradeStation. It also includes the TradeStation code printout as well as performance and trade-by-trade summaries.

The package costs $99 without data or $149 with all the historical data series that are used in the systems, in MetaStock or ASCII format. Some data series go back to 1953. All advance-decline indices go back to 1978. Where possible, data was verified by checking against at least two other sources. Shipping, $5 within the US or $15 international.
