MetaStock Professional 7.0 DataOnDemand feature simplifies analysis work

NEW -- The newly launched MetaStock Professional 7.0 from Equis International promises to simplify the trader's life with a new data-management model, DataOnDemand. It allows traders to access current and historical price data from Data Broadcasting Corp.'s eSignal Internet data service directly online, without storing it on a local drive. What does DataOnDemand mean to traders? Traders don't need to wade through tedious data management tasks just to get their information into usable charts -- opening a separate data collection program, adding symbols one by one, making sure individual start and end times are correct, and so on. With MetaStock Pro 7.0's DataOnDemand, traders can now simply type a symbol to see the chart of their choice. DataOnDemand also eliminates gaps in the data caused by any sort of interruption.

Other new features of MetaStock 7.0 include pager and E-mail alerts; free access to fundamental data through Multex and Market Guide for research; and free access to security-specific Reuters news and options chains. The Explorer has been improved to allow traders to run multiple explorations simultaneously. It's now quicker to narrow down a list of securities according to the traders' criteria. The Explorer also now allows users to save results of explorations to a list for futures reference. A new custom toolbar provides more freedom with screen layout. The new external formula language function, combined with MSX DLL indicators, allows traders with programming experience to build any indicator for use in MetaStock. Real-time configuration improvements cater to global trading and changes in market hours.

A limited-time introductory price is $1,295, regular price $1,495; upgrade pricing is available.
