The Technical Securities Analysts Association of San Francisco will
hold its 18th annual seminar on November 14, 2001, titled "Bull, Bear or
Nowhere?" This year's seminar will feature a debate between a bullish and
bearish speaker to help attendees sort through the momentous question of
market direction.
Harry S. Dent Jr., best-selling author of The Great Boom Ahead and The Roaring 2000s, will make a bullish long-term case using demographics and technical analysis. Peter G. Eliades, author and publisher of Stock Market Cycles newsletter, will make the bearish case. In May, Eliades received the Charles H. Dow Award for Excellence in Technical Analysis for his article, "Sign of the Bear." Joining them will be Sherman and Tom McClellan, originators of the McClellan oscillator and summation index and publishers of the McClellan Market Report. In the year 2000, they were named Timer Digest's Bond Timer of the Year. Using their well-respected proprietary indicators and finely tuned approach to the financial markets, they will make the persuasive case that the current market is going nowhere. Rounding out the seminar is guest speaker Adrienne Toghraie, a trading psychologist, coach, and neurolinguistic programmer. The master of ceremonies will be Harvey Baraban, a 40-year veteran of the stock market. Technical Securities Analysts Association of San Francisco, phone 415 957-1202, www.tsaasf.org |
