Tradestationworld.com

TradeStation has certainly made a name for itself in the world of technical analysis. To further enhance its presence, now the company has created an online community where users from all over the world can gather to discuss trading ideas, techniques, and strategies.

An initial glance at the website reveals it is well-designed and easily navigable. The site's five major sections are immediately apparent: discussion boards, EasyLanguage library, articles, training, and third-party products.

The discussion boards are divided into various sections such as strategy development discussions, TradeStation 6 platform questions, Tradestation 6 open platform developer-only forum, and Tradestation 2000i. If you are a registered member, you can post messages on the boards. Those not registered can only view them.

The EasyLanguage library contains several sample strategies you can download. You'll find both complete and component strategies that are categorized by type.

Many articles, interviews, trading notes, and reference guides can be found in the section titled Articles. Although articles are written by trading experts, I found most of the content to be focused on TradeStation features; for example, most articles will include EasyLanguage formulas for creating a specific strategy. The notes include an EasyLanguage dictionary and various other "how-to" tips that relate to TradeStation. The reference section discusses TradeStation-related information. The same applies to the training section, which contains information on various seminars/courses that TradeStation Technologies offers. There is also an extensive resource section that defines indicators and tools. I found this section to be the most useful. Just about every indicator or tool offered in Tradestation is covered.

This site was created with the intention of bringing the entire TradeStation community together, and it accomplishes this task well. It is worth a regular visit if you're a TradeStation user.
