Spooz Files Patent Application For Integrated Trading System
Spooz Files Patent Application For Integrated Trading System Spooz, Inc., said it had filed patent applications for its proprietary software and business processes. The company also reported it had applied for a copyright on its futures and options trading program source code. The SpoozToolz! system, initially designed for futures and options traders, is available for downloading on a trial basis at its website. The two-week free trial includes real-time data from the Chicago Board of Trade, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Kansas City Board of Trade. Data from other markets is available on a delayed basis. A full-featured version, including all real-time streaming data, is available for $89 a month, plus exchange fees.

Hotspot FX Connects To X_TRADER Platform, Passes IPE Conformance
Hotspot FX Connects To X_TRADER Platform, Passes IPE Conformance Trading Technologies International (TT) and Hotspot FX announced that Hotspot FX would provide access to its spot foreign exchange marketplaces via TT's X_Trader order entry platform. The arrangement marks the first cross-market extension of X_Trader into the cash foreign exchange markets. Hotspot FX, the first spot forex marketplace to connect to TT's platform, will connect via TT's high-speed Fix Gateway. All X_Trader users will have the option to trade Hotspot FX products.
In other news, TT and the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) announced that TT had passed conformance testing with the International Petroleum Exchange (IPE), ICE's regulated futures exchange subsidiary. TT is now classified as an approved independent software vendor (ISV). Traders will be able to use X_Trader to execute trades in all electronic futures energy contracts listed on Ipe, as well as all cleared over-the-counter (OTC) energy products listed on Ice. TT is the first Isv to connect to Ice's electronic OTC markets.

CMS To offer Real-time DataFeed Through Radianz CMS WebView (CMS) said that it would make available its TDI datafeed of real-time futures and options data through Radianz's shared market infrastructure. CMS customers taking the TDI feed through the Radianz platform will receive a high-speed supply of real-time data from a range of the world's leading futures exchanges. The Tdi feed is offered in various formats, including financial information exchange (FIX) and the default protocol from individual exchanges. The benefit of the feed is that customers can choose the frequency of data delivery, with options such as real time, delayed, snapshot, or end-of-day on an exchange-by-exchange basis.
