FM Labs Releases Technical Analysis Programmer's Toolkit

FM Labs has released Version 6.0 of The Technical Analysis Programmer's Toolkit, a library of functions for building charting and trading systems. The Toolkit contains over 400 functions for data access, financial and option-pricing calculations, and trading system back-testing and optimization. The new version also features a rewritten charting module and more than 140 technical indicators. Version 6.0 adds support for Visual Basic, Net, C#, Delphi, C/C++ and VB6. NYBOT Announces Launch of Reuters/Jefferies CRB Contract

  The New York Board of Trade began trading the Reuters/Jefferies CRB (RJ/CRB) Futures Price Index futures contract on July 12, 2005, with options available in September 2005. The RJ/CRB futures will list four months on a quarterly cycle, (March, June, September and December), and features a multiplier of $200 times the index. The current version of the Reuters CRB Index has been renamed the "Continuous Commodity Index" (CI) and became available for trading on June 20.

LIFFE Approved To Offer Direct Electronic Access From Singapore

  LIFFE Administration received regulatory approval as a recognized trading system provider from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The Mas's decision, which took effect on June 13, 2005, enables Euronext.liffe and  CBOT to introduce a telecom communications hub in Singapore, giving customers direct connection to Euronext.liffe markets. This new hub will offer customers direct access to Euronext.liffe's Paris and London-based interest-rate, equity, and commodity markets.

New Commodity Indexes from DJ Indexes And AIG Financial

  Dow Jones Indexes and AIG Financial Products Corp. announce the creation of five new commodity indexes and sub-indexes. Two are sub-indexes of the Dow Jones-Aig Commodity Index (DJ-AIGCI), two are Euro and Yen-denominated versions of the existing DJ-AIGCI, and the fifth is a spot price version of the DJ-AIGCI. The new indices join the two indexes and seven sub-indexes already calculated daily by Dow Jones and Aig Financial Products Corp.
