Distribution Agreement expanded

eSignal and Dow Jones Newswires have expanded their distribution agreement, which increases the Dow Jones news and information solutions available on eSignal's streaming, real-time financial market data and tools, including eSignal, QuoTrek, MarketCenter Live, and FutureSource workstations.

  The relaunch of TradingMarkets.com, with more than 30,000 pages, features expanded news coverage and breaking news alerts. Traders can stay up to date on all market news, even after the close, and much of the site is now free.

NYBOT Announces Coffee Action

  In accordance with Rule 8.15, the New York Board of Trade declared a force majeure situation exists in the Port of New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina, and coffee deliveries pursuant to delivery notices previously issued shall not be made until such date as the board may determine and effective August 30, no further delivery notices may be issued for coffee to be delivered in the port until the conditions of the warehouses and the coffee there can be determined.

DJTA Component Change

Dow Jones announced component changes in the Dow Jones Transportation Average, with the deletion of Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines. Delta and Northwest were removed because they filed for protection under bankruptcy laws. The two stocks were also deleted from the Dow Jones US Total Market Index but not replaced.
