ADVANCED GET 9.1 IS RELEASED
eSignal released Advanced Get End-of-Day 9.1, which enhances the capabilities
of making decisions by taking automatically identifying trade types. The
all-new dashboard can monitor up to 80 charts in one window and alert investors
when trade types are identified. eSignal will provide coaching, support,
and a training package for those buying or upgrading to version 9.1.

INTERACTIVE DATA ACQUIRES QUOTE.COM

Interactive Data said it had agreed to acquire Quote.com and related assets
from Lycos for $30 million. The acquisition is subject to customary closing
conditions including governmental approvals. Upon completion of the transaction,
the assets of Quote.com will operate as part of Interactive Data's eSignal
division.

DTN OFFERS NEW EDITIONS OF PROPHETX

DTN said that ProphetX, a professional trading tool, provides utility customers
such as American Electric Power (AEP) access to real-time market information,
electric and utility industry news, and weather updates.
In addition, DTN has introduced the ProphetX Commodities and Active Trader editions. Commodities has a variety of productivity features, analytics, and performance enhancements. It allows the user to link information by dragging and dropping it into an Excel spreadsheet or within the ProphetX client itself for up-close monitoring, charting history, and details. Active Trader offers access to all US and Canadian stock exchanges and forex data. CQG CONNECTS TRADERS TO MONTREAL EXCHANGE

CQG now allows traders to execute orders on the Montréal Exchange,
the firm said. Traders can place orders using CQG Integrated Client, CQGTrader,
and WebTrader. CQG's order execution gateway uses the Fix protocol to connect
to the exchange's electronic trading engine. Montréal is the latest
exchange available for order routing with CQG.

TRADEKING LAUNCHES PROBABILITY CALCULATOR

TradeKing now offers a probability calculator, allowing equity investors
and options traders to access an online stock trading calculator that draws
on options trading to gauge the probability of future share price movements,
the firm said. Using real-time option pricing data and a bell-curve distribution,
the calculator calculates the likelihood of a stock or index moving above
or below a chosen target price at a future date.

NFA LAUNCHES FOREX ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAM
|
National Futures Association (NFA) said it had developed an online learning
program for those who want to learn about the retail off-exchange foreign
currency markets. You can access the program through the Investor Learning
Center section of NFA's website. The interactive, self-directed program
consists of six modules explaining how retail forex contracts are traded,
the risks inherent in forex trading, and the steps to take before opening
a forex account. The program also contains a series of quizzes to help
reinforce basic concepts.

CBOT, NYBOT AGREE TO HOST FINANCIAL CONTRACTS

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and the New York Board of Trade (NYBOT)
announced both entities have executed a nonbinding letter of intent to
host NYBOT's financial products on CBOT's electronic trading platform,
powered by Atos Euronext Market Solutions (AEMS) flagship product Liffe
Connect.

NYBOT AND MCX INDIA AGREE TO COOPERATE

The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) and the Multi Commodity Exchange of
India (MCX) agreed to explore areas of cooperation that could mutually
benefit both exchanges. The Mumbai-based Mcx and the NYBOT texchanges have
agreed to work together to develop areas of cooperation and business opportunities
with the goal of assisting and benefiting the underlying producers, end-users,
and investors of these products, by maximizing the application of international
best practices for price risk management and exchange operations.

CBOE ALLIES WITH HEADGESTREET

Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and HedgeStreet have entered into
a strategic alliance for the joint development of new products, sharing
of technology services, and marketing and support of HedgeStreet's innovative
binary options and futures products. Under the agreement, CBOE and HedgeStreet
will collaborate on retail distribution of their contracts via joint marketing
initiatives and share certain technologies and hosting facilities to achieve
cost and distribution synergies.

REAL-TIME SHORT SQUEEZE ALERT TOOL IS LAUNCHED

Buyins.net said it was now offering a real-time short squeeze alert tool,
tracking all short sale time/sale activity in 15,000 US stocks. Its SqueezeTrigger
Alert service alerts investors which stocks have short squeezes. The database
calculates the price at which the total short interest is short in each
stock.

personalized mentoring services to options traders. Sheridan Mentoring,

AAPTA CONFERENCE HELD IN ORLANDO ON APRIL 20-23
