TradeStation Forex Trading Platform Offers Tighter Spreads TradeStation said that it has launched its new forex trading platform that enables design, backtesting and automation of forex trading strategies based on interbank spreads as used by institutional and professional traders. This gives TradeStation clients the inside price transparency, the company said.

eMiniForecaster.com Releases Market Pivot Predictor EminiForecaster.com's newly released PivoTracker is a complex cycle analysis product that predicts future market pivots two to four weeks in advance, the company said, adding that the proprietary algorithm predicts future price pivots in stock indexes with about 80% accuracy. AIQ Systems Releases Pattern Recognition Tool AIQ Systems said it had released AIQ TradingExpert Pro 9.0, featuring a chart pattern recognition module that identifies well-known patterns and automatically draws them on charts. The module also alerts users when a pattern is broken and allows users to build trading systems based on specific chart patterns, providing the ability to backtest individual patterns to determine their effectiveness.

CME And CBOT Complete Merger CME and CBOT announced they have completed the merger of the two institutions. The new entity -- CME Group, a CME/Chicago Board of Trade Co. -- is now the world's largest exchange, the company said. Customers will now have access to an array of exchange-traded derivative products based on the entire US interest rate yield curve, equity indexes, foreign exchange, agricultural commodities, energy, metals and alternative investment products such as weather and real estate. Supported by leading trading technology and world-class clearing, these products will be tradable around the clock, around the world.

FXCM Moves Clients To No Dealing Desk Execution Of all FXCM clients, 99% are now trading with No Dealing Desk execution, the company announced, affecting almost 90,000 individual trading accounts. The No Dealing Desk model eliminates the potential conflict of interest between broker and client, the company said. FXCM has improved No Dealing Desk execution by introducing "At Best Price" order selection, enabling clients to get orders filled under all market conditions.

Patsystems Launches Pro-Mark 4.0 PatSystems has released Pro-Mark 4.0, a front-end system for high-volume, professional traders. With functionality designed specifically for energy traders accessing multiple markets directly from Pro-Mark's Live Quotes screen, customers can now trade the settlement market and minute marker, as well as crack spreads including GasOil/Brent, the company said. New features include hit and take buttons, an active contracts filter, and quick tabbing across all screens.

Trading Tech To Launch Gateway to Mexican Derivatives Exchange Trading Technologies International (TT) said it would connect its derivatives trading platform, X_Trader 7, to the Mexican Derivatives Exchange (MexDer). The gateway, which is targeted for production release in late 2007, will provide X_Trader 7 users with the ability to trade futures and options on currencies, indexes, and single stocks plus futures on interest rates. Customers will have the option to host their trading gateways or connect to MexDer via gateways hosted by Ttnet.

Tradingpatterns Releases Pattern Recognition Program Update Tradingpatterns.com announced that version 4.9.3 of APS Automatic Pattern Search was now available. This update of the pattern recognition program has several new functions, including a position size calculator for determining the number of shares or contracts to buy or sell based on risk/reward criteria that the user specifies. Technical traders can use APS to develop and analyze stock, futures, and forex trading systems based on price patterns.
