CMSFX introduces iPhoneForex

Forex traders can use their Apple iPhones to navigate through exchange rates and charts for 19 major and secondary currency pairs, CMSFX announced. Information displayed by iPhoneForex is based on CMSFX's trading software VT Trader and is updated in real time. VT Trader is already available as a mobile trading application VT Mobile beta, compatible with most widely used phone models based on Java, Windows, and i-Mode. CMSFX is currently developing the VT iPhone.

IB Group Launches Access To Aussie Stocks & Swedish Stock Options

Interactive Brokers Group (IBKR) has expanded its global direct access platform to include Australian stocks and Swedish stock options, bringing the total of market centers offered under the IB Universal Account to 72 across 17 different countries. The multiproduct platform allows customers to use a single base currency to trade products in other currencies by securing a loan or actually converting the currency. Real-time forex rates can be viewed at the IB website.

AIQ Integrates Autochartist

AIQ Trading Expert Pro 9.0 integrates the Autochartist Pattern Recognition Service, a module that identifies well-known patterns and automatically draws them on charts, AIQ Systems said. This module allows users to build trading systems based on specific chart patterns and provides the ability to backtest individual patterns to determine their effectiveness.

OptionsHouse announced it had launched a new virtual trading tool on its website. The NASDAQ Stock Market announced The NASDAQ DataStore, an online collection of data tools for institutional and individual investors. Part of this initiative will also be supporting full plug-and-play access to its premium market data products. FXCM Offers One-Click Execution

FXCM has added a new feature to FX Trading Station II, its trading platform, allowing clients to place a market order with a click. This will let clients trade more easily on news events and in volatile markets, but the default, two-step process will not change. The one-click execution is now available for FXCM live and demo account clients.

In other news, FXCM Group said it had changed the name of its subsidiary, FXCM LLC, to FXCM Futures LLC.

GFT said it now offers three types of trading applications: desktop software, a web-based interface, and software for wireless devices. With GFT's latest software, DealBook Web, customers trade currencies online from any computer with Internet access. For traders who need to be connected 24 hours a day, GFT also provides wireless trading through its DealBook Mobile software. Interbank FX Launches Candle Pattern Recognition Tools

With the launch of a series of chart pattern recognition (CPR) tools, Interbank FX (IBFX) is assisting traders by taking the guesswork out of candlestick pattern recognition. CPR Candlesticks plots a symbol on a price chart and notifies the user/trader when a pattern is found. It also tells the users which pattern was last found on the currency chart and how many bars ago. The system suggests a possible position, including a stop-loss and profit target. IBFX-CPR can be downloaded free for IBFX traders.

TradeStation said it was taking registrations for futures symposia to be held October 18-20, 2007, in Costa Mesa, CA, and December 6-8, 2007, in Hallandale, FL.
