Interactive Data Adds Features To Data Desktop Terminal, Offers Turnkey Platform

Interactive Data Corp. announced a suite of enhancements to Market-Q, a
Java-based, real-time streaming market data desktop terminal for financial
institutions. This version of Market-Q allows users to acquire and share
information that will assist them in reacting to market opportunities.
Market-Q can be accessed anywhere via a PC and web browser, with no software
download required. The service combines custom workspaces, interactive
charts, an embedded browser and data export capabilities.
In other news, Alphacet announced a new trial program that gives clients 90 days' access to test Alphacet Discovery, a straight-through processing platform for quantitative strategy development and deployment. Alphacet will also be working with BT and Interactive Data to launch the new platform. Alphacet expects to add end-of-day pricing and reference data from Interactive Data to its platform. OptionsHouse, OptionAlarm link To Provide Auto-Trading

OptionsHouse can now allow subscribers of OptionAlarm to sign on to OptionsHouse's
Auto-Trading service to execute trades based on OptionAlarm's model portfolio.
OptionAlarm subscribers must agree to follow the trades recommended before
joining the service. Whenever a trade is issued in his model portfolio,
OptionAlarm will notify OptionsHouse and a trade will automatically be
sent on behalf of the account holder. Auto-Trading service subscribers
will be able to sign on and the trades in their portfolios will automatically
follow the trades in the OptionAlarm model portfolio.

Wolfram Research has announced a solution for technical computing through
its partnership with Colfax International, a producer of business-in-a-box
server systems, with Microsoft and Intel, by making gridMathematica 2.2
available preinstalled on the Colfax CX6000 Workgroup Cluster.

Scottrade Launches Real-Time Market Data Tool

Scottrade is offering a real-time market data tool called NASDAQ Velocity
and Forces, which is available free to all customers who use Scottrade's
advanced platform, ScottradeElite. Velocity and Forces is designed to give
users a different view of the market. Scottrade customers will be able
to measure pretrade order activity on NASDAQ-, NYSE-, and AMEX-listed securities,
view the ratio of buy to sell orders in the market, and determine the momentum
of trading interest and the relative buy and sell pressure on the market
versus a historical average.

TurnSignal Announces Trading Indicators

TurnSignal said that traders would be able to create their own strategies,
automate, and backtest for the TradeStation platform with the TurnSignal
Complete trading indicators package. The package, which also adds EasyLanguage-callable
functions, includes TurnSignal and seven other indicators. TurnSignal continues
to provide indicators for users of the eSignal platform. which can be used
on any market and time frame.
