VISION FINANCIAL SELECTS NINJATRADER AS SOFTWARE PROVIDER

NinjaTrader has been selected by Vision Financial Markets as a key technology provider to expand their active trader business, Ninja representatives said. Vision will introduce NinjaTrader in a multiphase rollout, with futures now and equities in autumn 2009.

Fxcm announced an expansion of DailyFX Plus to offer Bloomberg TV and Forex Stream. Bloomberg TV gives global, up-to-the-minute financial and economic news, and Forex Stream offers real-time market analysis focused specifically on intraday trading opportunities. This service replaces the Thomson Ifr newsfeed, the company said.

In other news, the Fxcm MetaTrader 4 demo is now available. Fxcm has joined with Boston Technologies to enhance MT4, the company said. MetaTrader 4 is integrated with Fxcm’s No Dealing Desk.

Finally, Fxcm now offers 10 different krone crosses to be traded on the Fxcm trading platforms for Scandinavia. These crosses are available for live account holders.

In other news, Cqg will provide an ultra-low latency trade execution interface for Bgc Partners’ US Treasury benchmarks on Bgc’s proprietary electronic trading platform, eSpeed. Cqg’s hosted trading gateways have been collocated with eSpeed to provide traders with fast access to their electronic platforms for cash US Treasury securities. Global index provider Ftse Group (Ftse) has introduced a new specially designed index series for the Italian equity market, the Ftse Italia Series. This series offers investors the opportunity to track, analyze, and invest in Italy’s equity market. Ftse was selected by Borsa Italiana as its preferred index provider and to assume responsibility for its blue-chip index, known as Ftse Mib. Italian market data will be distributed globally on a real-time and end-of-day basis.
