eSIGNAL 10.5 EXPANDS CONTENT, EXTENDS DATA

eSignal 10.5 has been released, enabling active traders access to a broader range of content and historical data. The intraday historical data now allows users to access 12 years of minute-based bar data for North American equities and indexes, and two years of North American, European, and Asian futures, forex and treasuries. Included is Hot Lists, a tool for scanning markets automatically and identifying trading opportunities, and Sector Lists, which give users the ability to list which symbols are in specific sectors, create watchlists, and insert symbols into a quote window for additional sorting and analysis.

In other news, eSignal is offering a no-cost newsletter on the how-tos of trading. Trading 101 allows access to helpful information on trading education, setting yourself, and your workplace up for the business of trading, and tips and tools of trading successfully.

Barchart.com announced a datafeed relationship with NeedForTrade. NeedForTrade software users can subscribe to Barchart’s real-time datafeeds, which are sourced directly from futures and equity exchanges. NeedForTrade and Barchart have implemented a web-based process for users to select Barchart as a data source.

Thomson Reuters and Nasdaq Omx Group announced the integration of Nasdaq Market Replay into Thomson Reuters Transaction Analytics, which provides trading desks and compliance officers with execution reports and actionable trade exception alerts. Nasdaq Market Replay now takes these analytics one step further by allowing clients to click on a trade exception to view the full market context. This includes quotes, trades, and consolidated best bid and offers in the market around the execution, with the ability to visually zoom in and out and navigate forward and backward in time.

AIZAWA SECURITIES CONNECTS TO TRADINGSCREEN

TradingScreen said that Aizawa Securities had joined its global network of execution services counterparties. The TradingScreen—Aizawa integration will provide buy-side traders access to securities across all regional Japanese exchanges. Clients will now gain access to fully normalized cash, derivative, and Otc markets currently supported by TradeNet, TradingScreen’s network of international brokers.
