TradeStation has launched an option trading platform to coincide with the release of TradeStation 9.1, the latest version of its trading platform. OptionStation Pro’s key features include advanced option charting with interactive three-dimensional position graphs, advanced order-entry technology to trade options spread strategies with a few clicks, configurable spread-specific options chain views, dynamic options pricing, and greek calculations.
In other news, TradeStation Strategy Network Beta website introduces a marketplace of trading software strategies, trading indicators, and other trading idea-generation tools created by independent software developers. The site offers more than 800 trading tools that TradeStation brokerage customers can incorporate in trading strategies.

CQG has established an infrastructure for trade routing and market data delivery in Asia-Pacific by connecting its global network to Shanghai, including coverage of Japanese derivatives exchanges. This allows traders to access more than 40 global exchanges for order routing as well as market data from more than 100 sources worldwide.
In other news, Continuum, a division of CQG, and Zlantrader have partnered to power Zlantrader’s trading application with Continuum Connect, Continuum’s API solution for market data delivery and trade execution. This links Zlantrader customers to more than 50 of Continuum’s FCM partners and over 40 exchanges worldwide for order routing. Zlantrader offers multiple order entry interfaces, quote display functionality, and account management tools.

Patsystems XConnect announced that it had partnered with Straits Financial to facilitate its global exchange-traded derivatives business. Patsystems XConnect and customers of Straits Financial will have access to several leading futures exchanges, including CME Group (CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX), ICE, SGX, HKEx, TOCOM, and LME. Customers can access these markets from anywhere in the world using Patsystems’ API or Pro-Mark, or J-Trader, which includes integrated charting and news from Market-Q. Straits will be able to monitor and control its clients’ trading activity using Patsystems’ comprehensive pretrade risk management system.

The upgrade brings configurable new order types that introduces a new FIX-based solution for market data that satisfies higher performance requirements, reduces costs, and uses a standardized protocol.
