MB Trading Slashes Commissions

  MB Trading Slashes Commissions

MB Trading reduced the commissions it charges to strengthen its position in the online brokerage industry, the company said. The revised structure will reduce the price of trading 500 shares or less to one cent per share. Mbt has also reduced the cost of 501 to 1,000 shares traded to 0.875 cents. Option pricing was reduced to $1.25 a contract. In addition, MBT has reduced its commissions for trading futures. The new pricing will reduce fees to $2.30 for the first 30 days and $3.25 thereafter.

FT Interactive Data announced that ING Funds had chosen to use its Fair Value Information Service to support the funds' fair valuation procedures for equities held in their international portfolios. FT Interactive Data's service uses a bottom-up methodology, which provides information for each security in a portfolio, rather than for broad industry sectors, countries, or entire portfolios in a top-down approach.
