Simulated trading competition gives participants practice

FYI -- Fibonacci Trader Corporation has received approval from the US Patent Office on an application for a new technical analysis indicator. The new indicator uses the process of encapsulation to allow the user to analyze two time periods in one chart at once.
This is one of the three new tools incorporated into the Fibonacci Trader program. The second tool, directional volatility of the higher time period, takes the volatility of price into consideration on a Fibonacci basis to help put the trader on the right side of the market. The third, volumetric bars for stocks and shares, is a newly disclosed indicator and combines price and volume into one bar. The width of each bar varies according to its comparative volume.

NEW -- TrendClear is a new system and trend-identification indicator package for TradeStation and SuperCharts. TrendClear's four proprietary trend-identification formulas isolate short-, intermediate- and long-term trends in the commodity and stock markets and avoid choppy and flat periods.
TrendClear, a mechanical system, generates end-of-day and intraday signals inside TradeStation/SuperCharts. Price, volume, open interest and three proprietary volatility screens are applied before signal generation. The program applies pattern recognition to indicate exits. TrendClear graphically displays trend indication levels 1 through 5 with stops. TrendClear may be combined with other indicators to screen for day or position trades.
